Holistic Approach

A holistic approach entails evaluating the physical body in conjunction with the mental and emotional aspects of a person.

We tend to know a lot about many things (some of which are irrelevant or useless), but it is remarkable how little introspection we regularly engage in. We are not even fully aware of our emotions. You ask a person how they feel, and they reply by expressing their thoughts rather than revealing the state and nature of their feelings.

It is perfectly fine to be emotional and express emotions rather than disguising them; however, if one lets emotions seize control, it can become a pathological factor affecting overall health. On the other hand, if the body is not balanced physically, the person will then be prone to mental disorders.

Everything around and inside us changes continuously, and maintaining balance holistically is not always an easy task. However, that is how Nature designed us, humans. We have the innate ability to adapt, carry on, and rectify our imbalances throughout our whole lives.
